Ladies and gentlemen, I'll tell you more about Dr. Sigit Setyawadi, Sp.Og.

When the hotel in Batu was ready in 2010, Dr. Sigit moved to Surabaya. At that time the child number 2 was still in grade 2 of high school and child number 3 in grade 5 in elementary school.

All advised not to move because business was difficult. Better to wait until the new graduate moved.

Finally it was decided to rent a small house for children and helpers. It so happened that the youngest Teacher's mother had a small, unemployed house near her house.

When viewed, it turned out that the house in front of the house of the teacher's mother was already very ugly. But there is added value near Buu Guru's house so that the youngest can entrust. Finally the house was contracted, then in rehab to make it livable, dikeramik etc. New chairs and beds were bought because all the furniture in Batu had been given to someone else.

From Batu to Surabaya, doctor Sigit moved to a house full of furniture. While the hotel does not need cupboards, buffets, desks and so on. All divided to craftsmen, helpers and neighbors. Because so far there is a habit that he does not want to sell goods that are not used. No matter how expensive it is, people will give it if it's not been used for more than 1 year.

It turns out they are only 3 monthly occupy the house. All children can move to the new school year without having to finish elementary and high school. The rented house is returned to the teacher in very good condition and complete until the refrigerator and washing machine are also left behind. Doctor Sigit's family didn't bring anything but clothes.

The house is now occupied by the teacher's mother's son.

There is a philosophy instilled by doctor Sigit in his children.

If a shirt has not been used for more than 1 year, do not store it. Give others who might want to wear it. Of course this is outside special clothes such as suits that are rarely used. If you want to have new clothes, empty the deceased (reduce) and give clothes to other people. God will fill in the blanks.

KOSONG - PLONG

Bapak dan ibu, Saya akan cerita lagi tentang dr. Sigit Setyawadi, Sp.Og.

Pada saat hotelnya yang di Batu sudah jadi tahun 2010, dr. Sigit pindah ke Surabaya. Saat itu anak nomor 2 masih kelas 2 SMA dan anak no 3 kelas 5 SD.

Semua menyarankan untuk jangan pindah karena urusannya sulit. Lebih baik menunggu sampai  lulus baru pindah.

Akhirnya diputuskan ngontrak rumah kecil untuk anak anak dan pembantu. Kebetulan ibu Guru si bungsu punya rumah kecil yang menganggur di dekat rumahnya.

Saat dilihat, ternyata rumah di depan rumah ibu Guru itu sudah sangat jelek. Tetapi ada nilai tambahnya dekat rumah Buu Guru sehingga bisa dititipi si bungsu. Akhirnya rumah itu dikontrak, kemudian di rehab supaya layak huni, dikeramik dsb. Dibelikan meja kursi dan tempat tidur baru karena semua perabot rumah di Batu sudah diberikan ke orang lain.

Dari Batu ke Surabaya, dokter Sigit pindah ke rumah yang sudah penuh perabot. Sedang hotel tidak butuh almari, buffet, meja tulis dan sebagainya. Semua dibagi bagi ke tukang, pembantu dan tetangga. Karena selama ini ada kebiasaan yaitu beliau tidak mau menjual  barang yang tidak terpakai. Seberapapun mahalnya, akan diberikan orang jika sudah tidak dipakai lebih dari 1 tahun.

Ternyata mereka hanya 3 bulanan menempati rumah itu. Semua anaknya bisa pindah pada tahun ajaran baru tanpa harus menyelesaikan SD dan SMA nya. Rumah kontrakan itu dikembalikan ke ibu guru dalam kondisi sangat bagus dan komplit sampai kulkas dan mesin cuci juga ditinggal. Keluarga dokter Sigit tidak membawa apapun kecuali baju.

Rumah itu sekarang ditempati putra sang ibu Guru.

Ada filosofi yang ditanamkan dokter Sigit ke anak anaknya.

Jika sebuah baju sudah lebih dari 1 tahun tidak dipakai, jangan disimpan. Berikan orang lain yang mungkin mau memakainya. Tentu ini diluar baju spesial seperti jas yang memang jarang dipakai. Jika ingin memiliki baju baru, kosongkan almarinya (kurangi) dan berikan baju ke orang lain. Tuhan akan mengisi kekosongan itu.
